Los Angeles drummer and producer Sarab Singh is the drummer for indie-pop band MUNA, whose 2023 run included opening for Taylor Swift on the Eras stadium tour and a Tiny Desk Concert for NPR Music. He is on the road with them again this fall on the Gets So Hot Tour for their 2026 album Dancing on the Wall, with dates across North America, the UK and Europe, and has also played with MUNA singer Katie Gavin’s solo project.
Before MUNA, Sarab toured and recorded with Sara Bareilles, Charli XCX, Ingrid Michaelson, Natasha Bedingfield, Madi Diaz and Joji. He posts regularly on Instagram and YouTube, from grooves over his own tracks to note-for-note takes on Dave Weckl’s music, and he is a Gretsch, Istanbul Agop and Vic Firth artist.
Sarab received his music degree from the University of Miami, and is a first-generation Indian from Philadelphia. He was with the band Harper Blynn based out of Brooklyn, who later relocated to Los Angeles. In addition the Harper Blynn record, Loneliest Generation, he also appears on albums by Wakey! Wakey!, Mieka Pauley, and Sami Akbari.
