Matt is currently touring with guitar sensation Kaki King.  The tour has taken him to Australia, Germany, Italy, UK, France, Begium, Holland, Italy,  and Portugal, plus the Wanderlust and Bonnaroo Festivals. You can see him on youtube here:



He recently recorded the title track for Kaki King's "Until We Felt Red" album. 



Hailing from Teaneck, NJ, Matt began his professional career with Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus at age 17 and then went on to attend the University of Miami. It was there that he had the opportunity to perform with Joe Henderson, Maria Schneider, Gerry Mulligan, & Chico O'Farrell.

In
1994, Matt was with the Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus Blue Unit Tour, and from 1997-1999 he was with the Red Unit Tour.

Matt has toured Austria, Germany, Croatia and Bosnia with Gottfried Stoger and Dreamhunter. He has also performed at the Guggenheim Museum and Deer Head Inn with Kenny Werner and Ratzo Harris. Matt recorded with Todd Rundgren in 1999 and performed for a month at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas with jazz vocalist Rosemary Watson. He was one in five in the US to receive the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts Clifford Brown/Stan Getz fellowship.

He wrote and performed a song featured in the motion picture "Bristol Boys," and was featured in the Fischerspooner music video for "Don't Let Go".
