Brendan Buckley grew up in the New Jersey area (Morristown and Mount Arlington) before moving to Miami to attend the University of Miami’s School of Music.  While there, he became immersed in the city’s rock, Latin, and jazz scenes.

By the time of graduation, he had been recording albums and touring with the Spanish rock band Fulano De Tal (BMG).  A year later, he played drums with Julio Iglesias for his "Tango" tour.

Brendan left this tour to record an album for the Colombian pop star Shakira. Since then, he has done four more albums and three tours with the South American artist.  During that span of time, Brendan also found time to record with artists such as: DMX, Lauren Hill, Gloria Estefan, Spam All-Stars, Nil Lara, Mariana Ochoa, Julio Iglesias Jr, Alejandra Guzman, Sheila Nicholls, Brandi Flores, Alih Jey, Pedro Suarez Vertiz, Soledad, Natalia Oriero, Peter Bradley Adams, Volumen Cero, Zach Zisken, Peter Himmelman, Popvert, MonteRosa, Shalim, and Maria Bestár.

At the current time, Brendan is living in Los Angeles producing a new record for Fulano, writing songs for Shakira's upcoming Engli . . .
